Newcomers, Women & Members Fun Run/Walk - Saturday, May 16 @ Union Station

Join us for a great fun walk/run along the National Mall in our beautiful capital city on Saturday, May 16. Walkers meet at 9:30 AM and runners meet at 10 AM for a 3, 4 or 6 mile run. Meet us at the plaza directly in front of Union Station. Afterwards, we will grab a bite to eat and socialize. It’s also our Third Saturday Women’s run/walk. If you’ve wanted to check out our club, here’s the perfect opportunity to run or walk with us!

Spring Fling Dinner - Saturday, May 16 @ Dupont Italian Kitchen, 1637 17th St NW

All are welcome to our traditional Pre-Race Pasta Dinner at the Dupont Italian Kitchen (DIK) at 17/R St NW.  Meet at 5:30 PM on Saturday, May 16. Cost is $20 per person.

U.S. Capitol Guided Tour - Saturday, May 16 @ U.S. Capitol Visitor’s Center

Speaking of our capital city, join your fellow Front Runners on a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol! The formal tour begins promptly at 2:00 PM; you should arrive early to check out the exhibits in the new Capitol Visitor’s Center on your own.

Capitol Hill Classic 10K - Sunday, May 17 @ Stanton Park, 5th and C Streets NE

The Capitol Hill Classic is one of our most popular circuit races. DCFRs will again staff the water station at 5th and East Capitol St.  Whether you’re running or watering – come out for this great race. The race begins at 8:30 AM.  All runners and water stop volunteers should come to the group photo that will be taken at the Nathanael Greene statue in Stanton Park after the race and right before the brunch!

Post-Race Sunday Brunch - Sunday, May 17 @ 626 D Street SE

All club members and out-of-town Front Runners are invited to the Capitol Hill home of DCFR Ron Tomasso (a few blocks from the finish line) for our Spring Fling post-race brunch. The festivities will start around 10 AM.
